the mission was to preserve an existing railing which sat atop a deck that once stood in the new master suites place.

the existing rail would be converted into a grow structure with additive vertical mesh elements that engage the ground - allowing vining plants to envelope the board and batten facade.

my part: site analysis, design and drafting, disassembly of existing structure, material ordering, project tack up, mesh cutting.
